Batata vada step by step
- Firstly take potatoes, peel and mash it..
- Now heat the wok with oil then add cumin and coriander seeds and let it crackle, now add green chilli, ginger and saute it few minutes..
- Now add chopped onion saute it 3 or 4 mins on medium flame then add mashed potatoes, 1tbsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp red chilli powder, 1 tbsp amchur powder, salt to taste and chopped coriander leaves mix it properly now cook for 5 min on medium flame now turn off the and flame keep it aside..
- Now take a bowl add gram flour pinch baking soda, some salt, 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder, mix it well then add some little water, mix it well and make a smooth batter without any lumps..
- Now take spoonful prepared mixture make a ball shape..
- Now Make theses all balls and then pour in the gram flour batter and coated properly..
- Now deep fry until crispy and golden colour on medium flame..
- Keep it on tissue paper to absorb extra oil..
- Now serve it green chutney and fried green chilli..
