Ingredients of Mango 🥭 Misti Doi
- Prepare 600 Gms of yogurt full cream .
- Prepare 1 of nestle condensed milk.
- You need 1 pinch of cardamom powder.
- Prepare 1 pinch of crushed saffron.
- It's 1 of mango alphonso cut it in to very tiny cubes.
- You need 1/4 tsp of finely crushed pistachio Cardamom for garnish.
Mango 🥭 Misti Doi instructions
- Spread clean muslin cloth or cheese cloth over large strainer on a big bowl. Place yogurt in the center 2. Wrap it from all sides & tightly tie muslin cloth 3. Hang yogurt for 1/2 to 1 hour till water is drained off from yogurt ; place an empty bowl below it to collect the whey drained yogurt liquid .
- Yogurt should become little thick after 1 hour ; untie the muslin cloth & transfer thick strained yogurt in a bowl 5. Add condensed milk & cardamom powder & mix properly using a hand beater or a spoon until smooth..
- Now transfer in a bowl or earthen pot & cook for 2 minutes in microwave first 1 min then stop microwave & again 1 min 7. Let it cool & keep in refrigerator for chill 8. After chilling decorate with mango pieces, saffron & pistachio 9. Keep it in refrigerator till serving time.
- You can make plain & decorate as shown in picture 2. You can use 1/2 low fat & 1/2 full fat yogurt also 3. If you make in earthen pot it taste & look very nice ; but you can make in normal bowl also.
